This trip is for those who would like to learn how Thai people
live in a more rural environment.
Pick up from various hotels in Bangkok and transfer to Nakorn
Nayok Province. Arrive at a morning market, where the local people sell their
own products. Enjoy an ox-cart rid through the rice field to a hut where you
will learn how to grow rice, ploughing by ox and planting too. Visit a fruit
plantation where we grow many kinds of fruits, such as durian, papaya, jack
fruit, etc. Have Thai food for lunch, including Som Tum (Papaya Salad), Phad
Thai Goong (Stir Fried Thai Noodles with Prawns), Kai Pad Med Mamuang (Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts) and
Gang Kaew Wan Gai (Green Curry with Chicken). Also, visit an agricultural
project of the late King and stop at Khun Dan Dam Hydraulic Turret, the longest
cement dam in the world.
