for a 12km ride. Start with Wat phra si sanphet and the royal palace. your
exploration of spiritual sites moves on at Wat Lokaya Sutharam, where you can
see the largest reclining Buddha image in Ayutthaya. Then ride to the mystical
Wat Na Phra Men which houses a golden seated Buddha statue and which was
preserved from the fire during the Burmese invasion that destroyed the city. Finish
the ride at the notorious temple of Wat Mahathat, where you can see a special
tree with the face of Buddha encased in its trunk.
